At The Field we present meditation as a simple, secular, and human approach to cultivating well-being. No affiliation or previous experience is necessary.
Principles of heart-centered connection and personal clarity define the core effort at The Field. The experience of meditation is greatly enhanced by genuine and compassionate instruction. We provide proven methods and an environment that is conducive to human connection.
Meditation practices are changing the way we understand our health, happiness, work. Both simple and radical, the act of spending purposeful time with ourselves unlocks a domain of inquiry that has a direct impact on the quality of our life. By giving ourselves a place to settle, and rest, we uncover our innate qualities of clarity, health, and kindness. This is not about becoming someone else, but rather allowing ourselves to fully inhabiting who we already are.
This process of discovery is greatly enhanced by genuine and compassionate instruction in proven methods, a conducive environment, and the recognition that we are already connected to one another. The Field is founded on these principles, and the basic idea that we all could use a place to return to, again and again, where our minds can rest. Whether on our way to or from work, when we have heightened levels of stress, or over a weekend of more immersive training, we need a trustworthy and supportive place to return to ourselves.
